Empowering Uganda’s Film Industry: The Third Edition of UCC and CineArts Academy Training
In a bid to cultivate talent and invigorate Uganda’s burgeoning film industry, the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is proud to unveil the Third Edition of the UCC and CineArts Academy Training. This groundbreaking initiative, a cornerstone of the prestigious Uganda Film Festival 2024, promises to be a transformative experience for 500 aspiring Ugandan filmmakers and media enthusiasts.
Set to commence on May 13, 2024, this comprehensive online training program encompasses a diverse array of disciplines, ranging from Film Directing and Screenwriting to Journalism, 3D Animation and more. Under the expert guidance of industry professionals, participants will delve into the intricacies of their chosen fields, honing their craft and expanding their skill sets.
A notable addition to this year’s curriculum is the Career Development Program, a dedicated segment designed to equip trainees with the practical know-how needed to thrive in the competitive landscape of the film industry. From learning how to prepare for remote and on-site career opportunities to discovering channels that offer remote jobs internationally, participants will gain invaluable insights into navigating the evolving dynamics of the industry.
